Frodermann Update

I know that you keep track of us on Facebook, but a friend has recently returned to blogging, and it inspired me to do the same.  Here's our update:

We live in Eden Prairie, and have been here since 2009. Mike is working in commercial finance, and I am about to return to work part-time as a physician assistant in colon and rectal surgery.  I have been home since November, 2013, when I quit my stressful full time PA position, and traded it in for communications chair for the PTO, Girl Scout leader, and mission work in Nicaragua.  The kids are growing like weeds, and we are having so much fun in the minivan driving from one event to the next.  Annalise is in 5th grade, and is a math whiz, as well as a gymnast, soccer player, and flutist.  Bennett is in 3rd grade, and loves hockey, video games, and playing outside.  He finished his 4th year of hockey, and will start in Squirts in the fall.  He also plays baseball (Mike is his coach) and soccer (Mike is not his coach!).  Colin is in Kindergarten, and already is the king of our elementary school.  He know everyone, and everyone knows him.  He finished his second year of Mite hockey, and also plays soccer and baseball.  He would love to continue in karate, but Mom made him stop.  Shug is 13 years old, and definitely does not get walked with the frequency he enjoyed B.K. (before kids).

Congratulations, Jamie and Jeff on the birth of Ethan!

I am eager to start planning a family reunion.

More to come...

It's been a while since I've posted anything in the blog. Nothing really new at our house anyway. Sami is now 8 and in the 2nd grade and Tyler is 10 and in the 5th grade. Mom and Dad don't age. :)  The pics below are Sami & Tyler on the 1st day of school this year (Sept. 4, 2012); the kids goofing around one afternoon before football practice (late Sept. 2012); Tyler's first buck (10-pointer) during the Youth Gun Hunt (Oct. 7, 2012 - the first time he'd ever even gone hunting!); and Sami in her new roller blades received for her birthday (Sept. 10, 2012). Reggie is still good and still chewing on shoes, Barbies & Legos. What more could we ask for? Hope everyone else is doing well.

Fun in the Dells with the Weins

Calvin the Packer fan. Allie and Leigh before the Packer Superbowl game.
Rollerskating with the kids one night. They are very good. Sami keeps losing teeth.
Went to the dells again with Allie, Keith, Tyler and Sami. Nanny Leigh always has a good time. Only problem is that she is so stiff the next morning, that she can hardly walk. You know, I'm half way to my goal of 90 now. Actually, sometimes feel like I'm 90.
Hope everyone is doing well. Can't wait for the big wedding this summer and getting to see everyone.
Leigh

Christmas 2010

Merry Belated Christmas and Happy New Year from Minnesota!

We had a really nice Christmas. The kids were all really excited about Santa Claus, and Colin really had fun opening presents this year. The hits of this year were a Cars Piston Cup racetrack, Toy Story action figures, and Annalise's soccer ball/cleats/shin guards.

It's nice to see pictures of the Scheibe Christmas. It looks like you had a fun get-together. I hope you all have a wonderful 2011.
